If you are having psychological/psychiatric trouble between appointments:

Dial 911 or go to the nearest emergency room if you feel you are a danger to yourself or others, having suicidal thoughts, or if you are having medical complications
Dial 988 or 1-800-273-8255, the national suicide prevention hotline, if you are having suicidal thoughts.

Each county in Minnesota has a psychiatric mobile crisis team which you can find below. This service is offered to help cope with immediate stressors and lessen suffering. ​Mobile crisis services are teams of mental health professionals and practitioners who provide psychiatric services to individuals within their own homes and at other sites outside the traditional clinical setting. Mobile crisis services provide for a rapid response and will work to assess the individual, resolve crisis situations, and link people to needed services.
